Broadway Summer Day Camp
Students work towards performing in a full Broadway musical production where they’ll be singing, dancing and acting from 8am-3:00pm. Full-day students (8am-6pm) remain for a rotation of classes geared to develop technique in dance, music and drama. 8-week students perform in a Final showcase musical called “Hair Spray”.

Do you have any discounts for a family of 2 or more students?
Yes,their are family discounts at 20% off per family of 2 or more, payment discounts, referral rebates, early bird registration discounts. This does not include the deposit fee.
Do you have Early Bird discounts?
Yes, Students must register before the end of the Spring Semester (June 2013) to receive 20% discount off the original total price that excludes the deposit.
What does the deposit cover and is it included in the total price?
The deposit covers all membership fees, camp trips, uniforms & shoes for dance class, CEG trip uniform, CEG tote bag, Camp accessories, supplies and costumes for the show. The deposit is NOT INCLUDED in the total price of camp because it covers all additional fees.
Do you offer Family or Returning Summer Camp students Discounts?
Yes, If you register 2 or more students you will get 20% discount off original total price.
Who are the teachers and what are their credentials?
All of our day camp faculty are university qualified teachers with professional performing experience. We also have assistant teachers who are very professional and are at the top of their classes.
What will the students be working towards?
Ages 5-16 will be working on a Broadway Musical called “Hairspray”.
Will Snacks be served? Yes
Snacks will be served throughout the day. CEG Food will NOT be provided at the camp daily, so Please send your child to camp with money for lunch since he/she will not be allowed to leave camp to purchase lunch. Lunches can be basic, if your child is a fussy eater or has allergies to certain foods, you may send a lunch to camp with him/her. If you do send a lunch to camp, please make sure that it is in an insulated bag or container and is secured so that nothing can fall out. There will be no camp discounts for children who bring there own lunches to the camp. PLEASE NOTE: If we are approved for the summer food program, then we will be offering breakfast and lunch to the students at the camp.
Will you be going on trips? Yes
The trips planned will be done every Friday that will be geared towards the Broadway Summer Camp Showcase. Some of the trips are to the Museums, Philadelphia Zoo, Skating rink, Broadway Shows, Movies, Amusement parks, Fairmount Park, and local swimming pools.
What time do I drop off and pick up my child?
Camp staff cannot be responsible for children who are dropped off before 8:00am unless previous arrangements have been made where a formal letter will be needed. The following is a list of the pick up and drop of schedule according to your child’s day:
Half day drop off 8:00 am - 9:00 am
Half day pick up 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm
Full day drop off 8:00 am – 9:00 am
Full day pick up 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm
You will be charged an additional $10.00 fee for every 30 minutes that your late in picking up your child. This fee will be added to your weekly payment.
When is your Registration Deadline for the Summer Day Camp?
