Cristina Elena Guzman is the powerhouse behind some of Philadelphia's most esteemed performing arts institutions. She owns CEG Talent Management Agency, one of Center City's top talent agencies, and the CEG Performing Arts Academy and CEG Studios, located on North Broad Street and Ridge Avenue along the vibrant Avenue of the Arts.

CEG Performing Arts Academy is a premier youth development program that provides high-quality performing arts education, fosters community entertainment, and celebrates cultural diversity. Meanwhile, CEG Studios is a dynamic multimedia space for talented artists, producers, and directors to rent and bring their creative visions to life.

Offering acting, modeling, singing, dancing, and music classes, Cristina provides private and group instruction in vocal performance, acting, piano, dance, video production, music production, and modeling. With over 30 years of experience, her mission is to empower a diverse population of students with confidence, creativity, collaboration skills, and leadership qualities—preparing them to thrive in an ever-changing society.

Cristina's students have made their mark in the entertainment industry, excelling in recording, national talent competitions, pageantry, and acting and modeling. Many have landed lead roles in Broadway musicals and national tours, and numerous alums have followed in her footsteps as outstanding performing arts educators.

From an early age, Cristina was immersed in the entertainment world. She competed in numerous pageants and talent contests and has appeared in print ads, television shows, and films since age four. In 1996, she was a television host on FOX 29's Emmy Award-winning show, "School is Cool Report." She was also featured in a major print campaign for the Community College of Philadelphia, displayed on SEPTA buses throughout the city.

A trailblazer in pageantry, Cristina made history in 1999 as the first Hispanic woman to hold the title of Miss Philadelphia 1999 in the Miss America Scholarship Organization. That same year, she competed in the Miss Pennsylvania Pageant as a Top-Ten Semifinalist and earned over $14,000 in educational scholarships. She also received the Overall Community Service Award for her dedication to arts education and her advocacy for ACE: Arts & Cultural Enrichment Programs for the Learning Disabled —a platform she passionately continues to promote today.

Her contributions to the arts and community have earned her numerous accolades, including the ABC Channel 6 Community Advisory Board Award for Outstanding Community Service. Cristina's talents have taken her across the United States and Europe, where she has performed and volunteered at charities, hospitals, nursing homes, and foster care children's homes. A gifted singer, she has shared the stage with Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, the late Luther Vandross, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Faith Evans, Boyz II Men, Peter Nero, the Philly Pops, and more.

Proudly of Puerto Rican descent, Cristina was born and raised in Philadelphia. She graduated from the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA), where she majored in vocal music with minors in drama and dance. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media from Temple University, with a minor in Vocal Music. She also holds a Non-Profit Management Certification from LaSalle University and a Master's Degree in Multi-Cultural Education from Eastern University, along with a PA teaching Certification in Communications.
