Private Music Lessons
Piano and Keyboard Lessons
At CEG, we offer piano lessons for students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. Our classes cover various styles, including classical, jazz, pop, and more. Whether you're learning for fun or aspiring to join our performance company, we tailor lessons to suit your interests, age, and ability. We begin piano lessons as early as age 5, with all classes offered privately. Sessions are available in 30-minute, 45-minute or 1-hour durations. For advanced students, we have highly qualified instructors with master's degrees in piano, ready to guide students in preparing for university-level studies.
Guitar & Bass Lessons
Our private lessons cater to acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, offering a diverse curriculum from rock to jazz, classical to pop, and even Spanish guitar. Our team of experienced instructors, many of whom actively perform in bands, is equipped with college or university music degrees, ensuring proper theory and technique for every style of music. Guitar students also have the chance to participate in jam sessions with fellow musicians or perform solo in recitals. While we typically start students at age eight due to hand size, younger students can begin with a junior-sized guitar.
Drum Lessons
With expert drum instructors who are both musicians and educators, our drum lessons are designed for all levels—beginner to advanced. Students will learn vital skills such as time signatures, rhythmic patterns, counting measures, and performance techniques. Drum instruction forms the foundation of our school, offering endless opportunities to learn through some of the greatest songs in music history. Our performance program is at the heart of CEG, where jamming in lessons transitions to live stage performances.

Private Lessons Rules
1. First Lesson Requirement

The first private music lesson must be 1 hour long.

After the initial session, students may choose 30-minute, 45-minute, or 1-hour lessons.

Students must bring:

1 Folder/Music Notebook
-
John Brimhall's Music Theory Notebook Complete(Levels 1–3)

2. Attendance
-
Attendance is mandatory for all CEG classes.

Missed private lessons will not be credited toward future tuition and cannot be made up unless they qualify as an excused absence.

All missed lessons must be paid for in full.
3. Make-Up Lessons

Allowed only for excused absences, including:

Illness (with doctor’s note)
-
Death in the family
-
Religious activity
-

Must be scheduled within two weeks of the missed lesson.

Limited to one excused absence per semester.

Credits or refunds will not be issued.

Prepaid monthly tuition is non-refundable.

A Maximum of three make-up lessons per semester per student.
4. Late Policy

If you arrive late, you will still be charged for the full session.

Only the remaining time will be given—no extra time will be added.
5. Scheduling & Rescheduling

Once a private lesson is scheduled, it can only be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

All make-up lessons must be completed within two weeks of the missed class—no exceptions.

If a 24-hour notice is not given, the lesson will still be charged in full and deducted from prepaid tuition.

Students may request a Make-Up Class Pass from the office for approved absences.
By enrolling in private lessons at CEG Performing Arts Academy, students and parents agree to follow the above policies.

Course Pricing
Private instruction is available for Drums, Piano, Guitar, and Bass in weekly 60-minute, 45-minute, or 30-minute sessions.
