When visiting CEG, look for United Check Cashing on the first floor. Our Ridge & Fairmount Avenue entrance is right next to Love Park Pizza.

CEG Performing Arts Academy – Historic Venue

Housed in a beautiful 1890 historic building, our academy combines vintage charm with modern amenities.

Features include:

• High ceilings with Art Deco artwork

• Expansive windows with stunning Philadelphia skyline views

• Spacious dance room with two large stages

• Two DJ booths for sound and lighting control

• Wall mirrors and two sets of ballet barres

• Hardwood floors with Marley dance floor overlay capability

• 16 ceiling fans and professional stage lighting

• Balcony storage for chairs, tables, and video taping

Comfortable Waiting & Office Areas

• Equipped with multiple 50-inch TVs and magazines

• Mini and small kitchens for staff use at both locations

Recording & Editing Facilities

We have five soundproof Pro Tools recording studios, fully equipped for:

• Professional audio recording (Pro Tools)

• Video editing (Final Cut Pro)

Studios are available for daily rental at competitive rates.

Dance Studio / Stage Amenities

Perfect for rehearsals, workshops, readings, and full productions:

• Sprung Marley floor (20’ wide x 55’ deep)

• Full-length mirrors and three eight-foot ballet barres

• Surround-sound system with Bluetooth, DVD, VCR, and tape deck

• Ten large-screen TVs

• Professional lighting package and cyclorama (white & green)

• Optional sound system rental (additional fee: $200+)

Recording Studio

Ideal for music recording or performance rehearsals:

• Small hospitality kitchen with refrigerator and garbage disposal

• Bluetooth sound system

• Upright piano & keyboard

Recording Studios ($100 Deposit Required)

• Small Rooms (B3, B4, B5) – $30/hr

• Large Room (A7) – $60/hr

Parties & Events (4-Hour Minimum)

• Small Dance Room (1500 sq. ft.) – $100/hr

Please note: If more than 40 people are in the room, it is considered an event/party rental.

Additional Fees & Policies

• Security Deposit: $200 (Events), $100 (Rehearsals/Workshops)

• Cleaning Fee: $100 (Events), $50 (Rehearsals/Workshops)

• Deposit is non-refundable if event is canceled.

• Events must end by 12:00 AM.

• No smoking or alcohol inside the building.

• No cooking allowed; kitchens are for light prep only.
