Pro Tools Music Production Class - Level 1,2, & 3
2 hour Class
The Pro Tools 12 Music Production Operator Program trains students to
operate an Avid (Digidesign) Pro Tools System as an assistant engineer or entry-level editor in a professional music production environment. Successful students will be able to:
- Understand the Pro Tools File System, Navigation, and Display
- Understand the Differences Between Pro Tools Workstations
- Manage Pro Tools Sessions
- Record, Edit, Mix, Process, and Deliver Audio Using a Variety of Methods
- Use Fades, Signal Processing Plug-ins, and Automation
- Work with MIDI Tools

Final Cut Pro Video Editing - Level 1,2, & 3

This hands-on course teaches students to perform basic editing functions while becoming familiar with the Final Cut Pro 10 user interface. This course is based on the FCP 101: An Introduction to
Final Cut Pro course. In this course, you will cut a scene from a television series, create a promo for a documentary, and master filters and effects as you edit a segment of movies, the
international music-creation event. Start with basic video editing techniques and work through Final Cut Pro's powerful advanced features. Learn to mark and edit clips, mix sound, add titles, create
transitions, apply filters, and more. Topics include basic setup, customizing preferences and settings, capturing video and audio, various editing and trimming techniques, Ripple, Roll, Slip, and
Slide tools, audio editing and audio creation, finishing, and final output.
This class is designed for anyone looking to edit professional-quality video with Final Cut Pro and who prefers hands-on and interactive instruction to explore its functionality best. What You Will Learn Marking clips, using insert, overwrite, and drag-and-drop editing Trimming edit points Using Ripple, Roll, and Extend edits as well as the Slip and Slide tools Applying filters and changing Motion properties Audio editing and audio creation Finishing and final output. Before attending the course, students should have the following prerequisite knowledge: Knowledge of Mac OS X and primary computer navigation. Basic knowledge of editing terminology is recommended.
