Vocal Performance Classes
Are you a singer who experiences nerves during performances or auditions? This class is perfect for you! Learn essential techniques that professionals use to deliver a powerful performance every time.
Our classes are available for ages five and up, and we offer lessons for all skill levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced (by appointment).
Students will focus on proper vocal technique, music and rhythm reading, sight singing, and ear training, all through engaging warm-ups and song practice. The first lesson will focus on vocal technique, warm-ups, and the selection of songs to practice during the week, either by the teacher or the student. The first class must be scheduled for one full hour. After the first session, students can choose between 30-minute or 1-hour lessons. Students will also have multiple performance opportunities throughout the year.
Our school has many voice students who receive one-on-one private instruction. Students will sing various music, from their favorite artists to classical arias. All of our voice teachers hold university degrees in music, specializing in voice, and they have performance experience in diverse genres, including pop, jazz, opera, and more.
Here’s just a taste of what students will learn in their singing lessons:
Proper breathing techniques
Expanding vocal range
Pitch accuracy
Recording studio techniques
Vocal projection and stage presence
We also offer three optional performance opportunities each year: Summer, Winter, Spring, and Fall recitals. Many students also perform at local events and participate in our Musical Theater productions.

Attendance is mandatory for all CEG classes. Any group or private class missed by the student will not be credited to the next month's tuition and cannot be made up. All missed classes must be paid for in full.
Make-up Lessons
Make-up lessons are available for excused absences only, such as illness (verified by a doctor's note), a death in the family, or a religious activity. Make-up lessons must be scheduled within two
weeks of the missed lesson and are limited to one excused absence per semester. Credits or refunds will not be provided. Prepaid tuition for private lessons is due upon registration and can only be
applied to make-up lessons. A minimum of three fully paid deposits is required. Prepaid tuition is non-refundable.
Late Policy
If you are late for your scheduled lesson, you must still pay the full session fee and will only receive the remaining lesson time. No extra time will be added.
Scheduling Policy
Once your private lesson is scheduled, it cannot be rescheduled unless you provide at least 24 hours' notice. All make-up lessons must be scheduled for private lessons within two weeks of the missed
lesson date—no exceptions.
If you miss a lesson without notifying us at least 24 hours in advance, the lesson must still be paid for in full and will be deducted from your prepaid tuition. Students can obtain a make-up class pass at the office for missed private lessons. You must notify the office at least 24 business hours in advance to receive a make-up lesson.
Private lessons may be made up a maximum of three times per semester per student.
