With nearly 45 years of experience as a contestant, director, judge, and choreography director, Cristina Elena Guzman brings unparalleled expertise to pageant coaching—helping children, teens, and adults excel in every aspect of competition.

A true pageant veteran, Cristina has competed in many prestigious systems, including:

USOA, Mrs. America, Miss East Coast, Miss USOA, Miss USAM, NAM, Miss America, Miss Teen USA, Miss Latina USA, Miss Black USA, Miss Puerto Rico,  and MANY more.

Cristina began her journey at age four, competing in talent contests and appearing in print ads, films, and television. In 1999, she made history as the first Hispanic woman crowned Miss Philadelphia in the Miss America Scholarship Organization. She went on to become a Top Ten Semifinalist at Miss Pennsylvania and earned over $14,000 in educational scholarships.

Her dedication to community impact is equally notable—Cristina received the Overall Community Service Award for her advocacy in performing arts education and for promoting her platform, ACE: Arts Cultural Enrichment Programs.

As a Choreography Director, Cristina designs custom stage routines that elevate her clients’ presentation, from opening numbers to talent performances and on-stage walks. She ensures that every movement—whether a simple turn or a complex routine—flows naturally, matches the pageant’s style, and highlights each contestant’s strengths. This unique skill has helped her clients stand out under the spotlight and consistently place in the top tiers of competition.

A few times a year, CEG Performing Arts Academy hosts group workshops to sharpen essential competition skills:

Class sizes are limited for personalized attention. Recommended minimum age: 12 years old or older.
